The story · English

In a solemn gathering, the revered Admor HaKodesh of Shomrei Emunim, Rabbi Chuki Chaim zt"l, read from sacred texts outlining dramatic prophecies about the imminent messianic era. Ahead of the annual yahrzeit on the 5th of Elul, thousands are expected to visit his holy gravesite on the Mount of Olives. Rabbi Israel Pinchas Tirnauer shared revelations from the Rebbe's teachings between 2010 and 2012, highlighting a "war of crocodiles" mentioned in the Talmud (Sanhedrin 68) as a global religious conflict preceding the Gog and Magog war. The Rebbe identified modern-day Iran as the key instigator, interpreting "Persia" in gematria as linked to a war between Ishmael and Esau. He explained that Persia will suffer a decisive defeat from which it will not recover, paving the way for Israel's salvation.

The Rebbe noted that although the nation was historically called Persia, its name was changed to Iran by divine decree to soften the harsh prophecy, emphasizing that "they will have no control over Israel." In a sacred discourse on the eve of Rosh Hashanah 2012, the Rebbe urged Jews in the diaspora to immigrate to Israel or at least purchase property there as a refuge during the redemption. He confidently declared that exile and destruction for the Jewish people will end, citing miraculous protection during recent conflicts where thousands of missiles caused minimal damage compared to the 1948 war. He promised even greater miracles during the final redemption, envisioning atomic bombs suspended midair as a testament to God's power.

The Rebbe closely monitored global events, viewing the fall of Iraqi and Egyptian rulers as fulfillment of biblical prophecy signaling the rise of the Messiah. He expressed no fear of Egypt or Turkey, though he warned of significant future challenges involving Turkey and Egyptian tunnels. Reiterating that those in Israel will be spared harm, the Rebbe concluded with a call to strengthen prayer, repentance, and faith to merit welcoming the righteous Messiah with mercy and revealed kindness.
