Yaron Abraham Calls Trump’s Furious Remarks on Netanyahu “Unprecedented”

Political correspondent Yaron Abraham said on Sunday night that U.S. President Donald Trump’s angry reaction to the Israeli strike in Beirut’s Dahieh district was an extraordinary public attack on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The remarks followed reports that Trump spoke with Netanyahu about the operation in Lebanon.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump said a deal could be reached within two or three hours and described confronting Netanyahu directly: “I said to him, ‘What the hell are you doing?!’” Additional reports said Trump repeated his anger in conversations with reporters.

According to those reports, Trump lashed out even more sharply, asking, “Why did Bibi launch such an attack?! It really upset me, I couldn’t believe it was happening, he has no f***ing judgment!” Abraham responded that it was “an insane event” and said Trump was speaking about Netanyahu “like no leader has ever spoken about him publicly before.”
