Israeli Police Release Exclusive Footage of Linor Sasson's Arrest in Benyahu Razi Murder Case

Israeli authorities have released exclusive footage showing the arrest of Linor Sasson, a key suspect in the murder of Benyahu Razi at an Airbnb apartment in Jerusalem. The video, aired on Thursday afternoon during the "News Today" program, captures Sasson, 46, from Jerusalem, denying involvement during her arrest, saying, "What stabbing, what are you talking about? I haven't processed it yet." Sasson is accused of hosting the meeting where the murder was planned and transporting minors to the apartment in the Nahlaot neighborhood where the killing occurred. She faces charges of aiding after the fact and obstructing justice.

The indictment also names Agam Tzarfati (19) from Jerusalem, Shilat Huta (20) from Beersheba, and four minors aged 15 to 17, all charged with premeditated murder. Tzarfati and Huta's indictments were filed separately after they implicated the minors during the investigation. According to the indictment, Tzarfati had a romantic relationship with the victim, Razi. Days before the murder, Tzarfati and Huta rented the Airbnb and invited Razi and a friend for a weekend. A dispute arose, and the women left, alleging Razi was violent toward them. They later told Sasson and the minors about the incident, prompting a plan to attack Razi and his friend.

The minors armed themselves with knives, a folding steel baton, a shank, razors, and a hammer. During a pre-charge detention hearing, prosecutors revealed threatening messages Tzarfati sent Razi before the murder, including insults and warnings. Sasson and her son, Aviaor Sasson, the main suspect, coordinated the attack. Aviaor Sasson stabbed Razi to death. After a two-and-a-half-week manhunt, Aviaor was arrested in the Harel Tunnel while traveling by taxi to Jerusalem, following a police operation involving the National Unit and aerial support.

The investigation also led to the arrest of a 34-year-old Israel Prison Service officer from Hod Hasharon, suspected of obstructing justice and aiding Sasson's escape. She allegedly had a romantic relationship with the main suspect's brother, who is imprisoned, and together they attempted to hinder the investigation. Additionally, a traffic policewoman was questioned for allegedly obstructing justice by meeting with Sasson and Huta shortly after the murder and failing to report their information, instead taking actions to disrupt the investigation before suspects were arrested.
