Lehiah Greener Responds to Avivit Bar Zohar, Urges Her to Move On After 14-Year Feud

The story · English

Lehiah Greener and Avivit Bar Zohar have been embroiled in a long-standing conflict for 14 years, originating from an incident at Greener's wedding when Bar Zohar arrived with a new partner and was publicly ejected. The feud escalated after Greener made a harsh comment on a talk show, calling Bar Zohar a derogatory name, which deeply hurt Bar Zohar and led to a lawsuit. Although they briefly reconciled, the dispute reignited recently when a viral audio clip of Greener's comment resurfaced, prompting Bar Zohar to express her unwillingness to forgive.

In a recent interview on Walla's podcast, Bar Zohar clarified that her issue was not with the monologue itself but specifically with the offensive term used by Greener. She criticized Greener for continuing to use the viral sound despite knowing its impact. Responding on her 91FM radio show, Greener said she is tired of the ongoing conflict and emphasized that 14 years have passed. She described Bar Zohar as a good person but acknowledged they are no longer on good terms.

Greener explained that Bar Zohar likely did not intend harm by bringing a new partner to a highly publicized event, but underestimated the consequences. She also noted that the viral sound is popular among children who use it playfully without malice. Greener admitted the original monologue was immature and expressed regret but prefers to laugh it off. She suggested Bar Zohar should "let go" of the issue and move on, dismissing the severity of the insult compared to worse things said about her.

Co-host Maayan Ashkenazi Sarig supported Greener's view, saying the viral sound keeps Bar Zohar in public consciousness in a humorous way. Greener apologized again for hurting Bar Zohar and invited her to collaborate on the viral sound to help end the feud.

The dispute highlights ongoing tensions between the two Israeli celebrities, with Greener advocating for closure and Bar Zohar maintaining her hurt feelings over the past remarks.
