Former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked Questioned in 'Neve Tzedek' Corruption Probe

Former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked appeared this morning to give an open testimony at the National Fraud Investigations Unit, Lahav 433, in connection with the 'Neve Tzedek' affair. The case involves alleged quid pro quo dealings between former Israel Bar Association chairman Adv. Effi Nave and Judge Eitan Ornstein. Nave reportedly supported Ornstein's appointment as president of the Tel Aviv District Court in exchange for favors. The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the Tax and Economic Prosecution.
