Rabbi Lebanon Attributes Wildfires in France and Spain to Divine Response Over Hostility to Israel

Rabbi Elyakim Levanon, the chief rabbi of Samaria and head of the Alon Moreh Yeshiva, issued a strong statement regarding the massive wildfires currently devastating France and Spain. He interpreted the fires as a direct divine intervention and a clear warning from God in response to these countries' hostile policies and attitudes toward Israel. Rabbi Levanon emphasized that the flames ravaging these two nations, known for their antagonism toward Israel, are not coincidental but a message from the Creator.

In his remarks, Rabbi Levanon noted that the people of Israel are undergoing significant transformations affecting their international standing, security, economy, and various other areas. He divided the world's nations into two groups: those expressing appreciation for Israel's achievements and those harboring deep hatred. He highlighted that terrorist organizations act out of blind hatred, repeatedly attempting to harm Israel despite being unable to destroy it, and that some European countries, driven by hatred, lose rational judgment.

Specifically naming France and Spain as the most hostile toward Israel, Rabbi Levanon declared that the ongoing wildfires there are a clear sign of God's direct involvement.
