Zimrat Haaretz and Avraham Yitzhak Rozencweig Release New Song Inspired by King David's Thanksgiving Prayer

The musical group Zimrat Haaretz and singer Avraham Yitzhak Rozencweig have released a new song titled "Ve'atah Elokeinu," based on King David's thanksgiving prayer from the Book of Chronicles. The lyrics, drawn from the verse "And now, our God, we give thanks to You and praise Your glorious name," reflect deep gratitude for divine kindness, especially during the current challenging times marked by war, the return of children to their homeland, and the expansion of settlements in the Land of Israel.

The band explained that the song was created during an extended reserve military service period, expressing their feelings of thanks amid these significant events. The melody is attributed to the Toldot Aharon Hasidic tradition, while the musical arrangement and production were handled by Yigal Statner, with acknowledgments also given to Yedidya Meir Tadahar for their professional and warm contributions.

Additionally, the song includes a medley of tunes commonly played at weddings to uplift and bring joy to the bride, groom, and guests. The group emphasized that the prayer's continuation, "For everything comes from You, and from Your hand we give to You," encapsulates their belief that all blessings originate from God and are dedicated to His honor.
