Israel Monitors Escalation Around Strait of Hormuz Amid Regional Tensions
In a recent Ynet podcast, security analyst Ron Ben-Yishai discussed the ongoing escalation in the Middle East centered around the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as a war of attrition rather than a full-scale conflict. He explained that while the Strait is a focal point, the broader conflict stems from developments since late February. He criticized the flawed memorandum of understanding signed by Trump, which Iran exploited to gain significant concessions without facing war before the U.S. midterm elections in November.
