Former Knesset member Mossi Raz, currently running in the Democratic Party primaries, apologized after posting an inaccurate tweet regarding a signing deal involving Anan Khalili and the ONE website. Following corrections from followers, Raz deleted the tweet and expressed regret for the misinformation.

Earlier, Raz faced a significant legal challenge concerning his eligibility to run on the Democratic Party list. Raz, a senior Meretz member, had joined the Labor Party as part of forming the joint "Democrats" brand but allegedly did not officially cancel his Meretz membership. This raised concerns about dual party membership, which is prohibited under Israeli party law.

The legal complexity is heightened because Labor and Meretz have not formally merged, and the "Democrats" currently function only as a joint electoral brand rather than a registered unified party. While party officials declined to comment, Raz rejected the allegations, stating that party law does not forbid membership in a party that is part of a larger party alliance.
