The story · English

Lilach Algarabli, a new panelist on Channel 14's political talk show "The Patriots," introduced herself during Thursday's live broadcast. She shared her diverse background, highlighting her upbringing in Kiryat Yam, a city she described as transforming from a transit camp to one of Israel's most beautiful coastal cities. Algarabli recounted her service in the Israeli Air Force at a southern operational base, followed by a career as an El Al flight attendant and later as a fashion designer in Tel Aviv, where she humorously referred to herself as the "Yinon Megal of the fashion world."

Algarabli emphasized her firm right-wing political stance, stating she has never shifted ideologically and remains consistent in her views. Despite living among mostly left-wing friends, she expressed a goal of fostering unity and dialogue within the public discourse, saying, "We are here to unite, to bring closer," and underscored her desire to leave a stable country for her daughter.

She also discussed her involvement with the "Breaking Inequality" initiative, including hosting Professor Nissim Mizrahi and participating in a forum at Tel Aviv University that brings together academics and right-wing figures. Algarabli mentioned her role in drafting legislation for an investigative committee, expressing pride in contributing to resolving conflicts and valuing open, even difficult, conversations.
