Flight attendants worldwide report that nearly every passenger has a small habit that annoys them during flights, but nothing compares to the frustrations caused by passengers' behavior in airplane bathrooms. These annoyances are especially pronounced on long flights with limited sleep for the crew.

The most common irritating behaviors include passengers entering the lavatory barefoot or wearing only socks, despite the floor often being dirty and containing unidentified liquids. Crew members recommend carrying slippers or flip-flops to avoid direct contact with the floor.
