Avigdor Lieberman Warns Israeli Military Ammunition Will Run Out in 10 Days

Avigdor Lieberman, chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, sharply criticized the Israeli government's priorities in a Sunday morning interview on Kan Reshet Bet's "This Morning" program. He accused the government of placing its political survival above Israel's national and security needs, stating, "They are willing to destroy the country to preserve their coalition and power."

Lieberman issued a stark security warning regarding the military's supply situation, claiming that ammunition stockpiles are dangerously low and will be depleted within 10 days. He emphasized the severity of the issue by saying, "In 10 days, there will be no ammunition left for the IDF."

He also voiced strong opposition to the government's proposed exemption law that would allow certain sectors to avoid military service. Lieberman described the bill as a "desecration law" that institutionalizes mass draft evasion for a specific community, and vowed that his party would not legitimize such exemptions.

Regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip, Lieberman asserted that Hamas is regaining strength, noting that reconstruction efforts are underway and the group is tightening its control while producing rockets. He criticized the government for focusing on election campaigns instead of addressing these pressing security challenges.
