It also took place just two days after an unannounced visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the UAE, where he met with President Mohamed bin Zayed.
Netanyahu's office stated that his visit focused on bolstering ties between Israel and the UAE and addressing regional challenges, with participation from Israel's National Security Advisor, Mossad chief, military secretary, and political advisor. However, Netanyahu's statement followed reports that he had asked bin Zayed to deny allegations that he had warned the UAE president of an impending Hamas attack before October 7th.
