צוותי כיבוי והצלה פעלו לכיבוי שריפה שפרצה בחלקו החיצוני של בניין ברחוב יקנטון בעיר אשדוד. עקב השריפה, התפשט עשן סמיך מהמקום. דובר רשות הכבאות וההצלה, קאיד דאהר, מסר כי הצוותים הצליחו למנוע את התפשטות האש ולסרוק את הבניין, כולל הקומות העליונות. לא היו נפגעים באירוע.
