Old Photos on Dancing With the Stars Leave Anna Aronov Blushing

On Monday night’s episode of "Dancing with the Stars" on Keshet 12, host Lucy Ayoub surprised the judges and audience with unusual archival photos of Anna Aronov and Haim Perstein from the early years of Aronov’s time in Israel. The first image, shown on the large screen, sparked laughter in the studio and visible embarrassment from Aronov.

In that photo, the pair are dressed in elaborate period ball attire, Aronov in a puffed cream-colored gown and Perstein in a tailored tuxedo. Ayoub joked from the stage, "Anna, you look younger today, that is really true," prompting Aronov to laugh back, "Hard photos. Indeed hard photos, I agree with you."

Ayoub then revealed a second photo from the archive, showing the two in traditional rural clothing. Aronov explained that these outfits were not a fashion choice for everyday life, but costumes from a touring stage production that traveled around the world. She said the show was a collaboration with Hani Nahmias.

Perstein closed the moment with a joke of his own, describing his costume as "a maid’s outfit." The full episode and the humorous moments were set to air Monday night on Channel 12.
