גבר בן 68 נפצע במצב בינוני בתאונת דרכים שאירעה היום (יום ד') בכביש 4, סמוך לצומת אשכולות. התאונה הייתה בין שני כלי רכב פרטיים. צוותי מד"א שהגיעו למקום העניקו לגבר טיפול רפואי ראשוני, ופינו אותו לבית החולים אסותא באשדוד כשהוא סובל מחבלה בחזה. האירוע דווח למוקד 101 של מד"א בשעה 12:29.
