בית המשפט המחוזי דחה תביעה שהגיש אדם שדרש בעלות על מבנה היסטורי בעיר צפת. המבנה רשום כרכוש מדינה, אך התובע טען לבעלות עליו. השופט קבע כי מדובר בתביעת סרק חסרת כל בסיס משפטי, ודחה את טענות התובע לגבי חזקה ממושכת על הנכס. כתוצאה מכך, הוטלו על התובע הוצאות משפט בסך 50,000 שקלים.
