ועדת הבחירות המרכזית דחתה את כל עשר הבקשות שהוגשו לפסילת מפלגות ומועמדים לקראת הבחירות לכנסת ה-26. הבקשות כללו טענות שונות נגד מועמדים, אך הוועדה קבעה כי לא נמצאה עילה לפסילתם על פי החוק.

ההחלטה התקבלה לאחר דיונים ובחינת הראיות שהוצגו. נכון לעכשיו, כל המפלגות והמועמדים שהגישו את מועמדותם יוכלו להתמודד בבחירות הקרובות, אלא אם יוגשו ערעורים לבית המשפט העליון והם יתקבלו.

הבחירות לכנסת ה-26 צפויות להתקיים במועדן, ועדת הבחירות ממשיכה בהכנות הלוגיסטיות והמשפטיות לקיומן. דחיית הבקשות לפסילה מצמצמת את אי-הוודאות הפוליטית לקראת מועד פריסת המועמדים הסופית.
