US Strikes Iranian Oil Tankers; Iran Responds with Missile Barrage at Jordan

The United States conducted strikes against Iranian oil tankers near the ports of Kharg and Jask, prompting a significant retaliatory missile attack from Iran. Tehran launched at least 35 missiles targeting American bases in Jordan, according to reports. A spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya base command had warned that "in the event of any damage or attack against Iranian ships, Iran's armed forces will powerfully attack U.S. bases and interests in the region."
