An Israeli drone strike in the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis on Tuesday killed a Hamas operative and wounded several others. The deceased has been identified as Ramzi Abu Rida, a Hamas member who had previously been imprisoned in Israel for 15 years before his release in 2022. Abu Rida was sentenced to 15 years for planting explosive devices in eastern Khan Younis with the intent of ambushing and harming IDF forces.
