Deloitte Launches Space-Based AI and Cyber Services with SpaceX
Deloitte has moved into the space sector by launching three AI-based satellites with SpaceX, Elon Musk’s company. It plans to send up six more satellites over the next year, with the aim of building a business data layer in space and deepening its own data infrastructure. Another key goal is to develop satellite cybersecurity capabilities that Deloitte says it will later provide to other companies.
Idan Adler, head of Deloitte Israel’s development center, said, “Space is becoming a field for professional services.” He added that in an era when every large organization depends on data and every digital infrastructure is also a target, low Earth orbit is becoming part of the business architecture. According to him, Deloitte sees a strategic meeting point of three growing markets, space data, artificial intelligence and cyber, and understands that clients need not only advice about the future of space but capabilities that have already been tested there.
