Zvi Sukkot invites anti-settlement protesters to tour the hilltops

MK Zvi Sukkot of Religious Zionism confronted a group of far-left activists protesting outside the Knesset against what they called “Jewish terror” in Judea and Samaria. Instead of ignoring them, he came out of the building, sat beside them, and spoke with them directly.

During the conversation, Sukkot invited the protesters to join him on a familiarization tour of settlement farms across Samaria, saying the picture they have been given is very different from what he says is happening on the ground. He argued that the public discussion has presented events in a partial and distorted way.

Sukkot said, “I believe that even when there are deep disagreements, the way to deal with them is through familiarity and direct dialogue. The more we know how to talk to each other, the more we will ensure a better future for all of us. Many times what people think is happening on the ground is not necessarily what is really happening.”

He added, “Instead of arguing from a distance, I invite anyone who wants to understand the reality in Judea and Samaria to come, see with their own eyes, hear the people who live here and form an impression for themselves. Only this way can there be a real discussion based on facts and not on prejudices.”
