EU Countries Condemn Israel's Raid on UNRWA Facilities in East Jerusalem
Twelve countries, all members of the UNRWA Advisory Commission, sharply condemned Israel for its recent raid on the UNRWA training center in Qalandia and the seizure of UNRWA facilities in East Jerusalem. The countries involved include Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. In a joint statement, they emphasized that United Nations premises are protected under international law and must be respected. The statement called on Israel to honor its obligations and immediately cease all disruptions to UNRWA's operations.
