Maccabi Petah Tikva’s latest transfer windfall comes from Niv Yehoshua
Niv Yehoshua, a midfielder developed by Maccabi Petah Tikva, signed for Hapoel Beersheba on Monday evening on a five-year deal. After completing his military service, he is expected to earn 400,000 shekels a season, while Beersheba will pay Petah Tikva 1.6 million euros for the transfer.
The move adds another major sale to Maccabi Petah Tikva’s recent record of player exports. The club previously sold Manor Solomon to Shakhtar Donetsk for 6.5 million euros and Liel Abada to Celtic for 4 million euros, and received an additional 600,000 euros tied to a future resale.
Petah Tikva will also collect money from other deals, including the sale of Lamak Banda, bringing the total from his transfer to more than 17 million euros. Another notable move is Idan Toklomaty, who is heading to Charlotte for 3.7 million dollars, about 3.4 million euros.
The article also lists other recent exits, including Omar Damari to Hapoel Tel Aviv for 1.5 million euros, Eitan Azoulay to Maccabi Netanya for 700,000 euros, Arad Bar to Zurich for 370,000 euros, and Marco Wolf to Hapoel Beersheba for 237,000 euros. It says players such as Liran Hazan and Guy Dzent could be the next to move to bigger clubs, further boosting the Luzon family’s club finances.
