Rabbi Shternbuch's Emergency Fund Expands Torah Study Network Amid Economic Challenges

The emergency fundraising campaign 'Alaf HaMagen' to expand the 'Teshuvot VeHanhagot' kollelim network, led by Rabbi Moshe Shternbuch, is achieving significant success. Thanks to divine assistance and generous donations from Torah supporters in Israel and abroad, the campaign has enabled the absorption of 100 new avreichim (Torah scholars) who are now fully engaged in study from morning until night. Just weeks ago, these scholars lacked study places, but now they occupy seats in the kollelim, fulfilling Rabbi Shternbuch's vision to counteract governmental decrees aimed at reducing Torah study.

Rabbi Shternbuch framed the initiative as a response to attempts to limit Torah learners, stating, "They say 'lest they multiply,' and we say 'yes, let them multiply.'" The campaign is nearing its conclusion, with only 340 special commemorative coins remaining. These coins, distributed to campaign partners, are not mere souvenirs but are promised by Rabbi Shternbuch to provide spiritual protection and livelihood blessings. Contributors also receive his personal blessings.

The campaign arose in response to economic hardships imposed on the Torah world, notably the cancellation of recognition under Section 46, which led to many kollelim closures and thousands of avreichim without study places. Rabbi Shternbuch expressed deep concern over this crisis, emphasizing the urgency to act. Importantly, participation in 'Alaf HaMagen' requires only a modest monthly commitment of 84 shekels for 36 months, making it accessible to many. With limited coins and days left, the campaign calls on those with a heartfelt desire to join this historic effort and receive the rare blessing of Rabbi Shternbuch.
