Beitar Jerusalem Warns Fans to Avoid Damage at Bloomfield Stadium Ahead of Maccabi Netanya Match

Beitar Jerusalem issued a statement to its fans ahead of their Saturday evening match against Maccabi Netanya at Bloomfield Stadium. The club emphasized that Bloomfield and the Sports Halls Company have approved hosting Beitar there to support the team while their home ground, Teddy Stadium, undergoes turf restoration following the Maccabiah Games. Beitar expressed gratitude for this arrangement but stressed that the club has committed to ensuring no damage occurs at Bloomfield. Should any damage happen, the club warned it would be forced to relocate to a significantly smaller stadium unable to accommodate all their fans.

The club reminded supporters that it has already paid tens of thousands of shekels for damages caused at the stadium in Rehovot during a Toto Cup match. Beitar hopes this message is clear to all fans. The team begins the season at Bloomfield due to the ongoing rehabilitation of Teddy Stadium's pitch. With over 20,000 season ticket holders, Bloomfield and Sammy Ofer Stadium are the only venues capable of hosting such a large crowd.
