Ofer Winter Launches New Party with Yosef Hadad and Natali Shem Tov Among Leaders

Ofer Winter officially launched a new political party on Tuesday after a period of considering his entry into politics. The party's leadership list includes activist Yosef Hadad and journalist Natali Shem Tov, alongside lawyer Eran Ben Ari, Leli Deri, David Ben Zion, Aviv Ezra, and Sigal Kraulnik. Shem Tov, a resident of Metula who was displaced from her home due to the war, expressed enthusiasm about joining Winter, calling him a brave Israeli leader both on and off the battlefield. She emphasized their shared commitment to driving real change for settlers, residents of the periphery, and border guards.

Last week, reports indicated that Winter held talks with Gilad Erdan about a possible political merger. Additionally, discussions took place between Winter and Shem Tov regarding her running with him for the Knesset. The political system is adjusting to Winter's move, amid concerns from figures like Netanyahu. Separately, Nitzan Horowitz criticized Erdan's party, saying it is unlikely to pass the electoral threshold.
