Asia Restaurant Opens as Israel’s Largest Asian Eatery in Eilat with Over 400 Seats

After a year and a half of construction, Asia, Israel’s largest Asian restaurant, officially opened in Eilat in August 2026. Located on the roof of a less-than-one-year-old shopping center between the hotel district and downtown, the restaurant features four distinct dining areas, two bars, and a massive kitchen designed like a logistics center. The project, costing over 10 million shekels, was led by Elad Gozlan, a prominent figure in Eilat’s nightlife and dining scene, alongside partners Idan Krishtul, Omri Arusi, Kobi Katri, and Eran Halimi.

The menu, created by consulting chef Moshe Badishi, includes a wide range of Asian classics such as sushi, gyoza, bao buns, woks, and grilled dishes. Notable offerings include gyoza filled with entrecôte, chicken, or shiitake, grilled entrecôte prepared on a Japanese robata grill, and a miso yaki fish dish. The restaurant also serves seven classic sushi rolls, five special rolls, and children’s meals. The kitchen operates with 12 staff per service, managing multiple cooking stations and industrial-scale refrigeration and storage.

Asia aims to elevate Eilat’s culinary scene, which has been rapidly upgrading from hotel-based dining to attracting both locals and tourists with high expectations. Gozlan described the concept as inspired by visits to Dubai, Miami, London, and New York, striving to replicate Dubai’s high service standards, including dedicated waiters and runners for each table.

The venue currently seats 300 guests out of 400 available seats, operating in two evening shifts. A lounge area with a pool and delivery service for Eilat residents is expected to open after the Jewish holidays in October. Additionally, two new fast-casual restaurants, Nona Italian and Paris Texas, will open on the ground floor of the Seven Stars complex where Asia is located. Asia operates Sunday to Thursday from 18:00 and on Saturdays until midnight, maintaining kosher certification.
