Asia Restaurant Opens as Israel's Largest Asian Dining Experience in Eilat

After a year and a half of preparation, Asia, the largest Asian restaurant in Israel, officially opened in Eilat. Located on the roof of the Seven Stars shopping center between the hotel district and city center, the restaurant offers 400 seats across four distinct spaces, including two bars and a vast kitchen designed like a logistics center. The project, costing over 10 million shekels, is led by Elad Gozlan, a prominent figure in Eilat's nightlife and culinary scene, who previously opened the city's first kosher dairy rooftop restaurant.

The menu, crafted by culinary consultant Moshe Badishi, features a broad range of Asian dishes such as sushi, gyozas, baos, woks, and grilled specialties. Signature items include gyozas filled with entrecote, chicken, or shiitake, grilled aged entrecote prepared on a Japanese robata grill, and a miso yaki fish dish with miso koji marinade. The restaurant also offers seven classic sushi rolls, five special rolls, and children's meals. The kitchen operates with 12 staff members per service, managing multiple cooking stations and industrial-scale refrigeration.

Asia aims to elevate Eilat's culinary landscape, reflecting international standards inspired by visits to Dubai, London, Miami, and New York. Gozlan emphasized the challenge of replicating Dubai's high service level, which includes dedicated waiters and runners for each table. The restaurant balances grandeur with value, a notable achievement in the increasingly expensive Eilat market.

The rooftop lounge with a pool is set to open after the Jewish holidays in October, alongside a new delivery service for Eilat residents. Additionally, two new fast-casual restaurants, Nona Italian and Paris Texas, will open on the shopping center's ground floor, offering self-service pasta, pizza, and kosher fast food. Asia operates Sunday to Thursday from 6 p.m. to midnight and on Saturdays from midnight, maintaining kosher certification.
