Premature Infant Hadar Cohen Dies After Emergency C-Section Following Mother's Fatal Car Accident

Assuta Ashdod Hospital announced the death of Hadar Cohen, a premature infant born at 30 weeks via emergency cesarean section. The surgery was performed after her mother, Tzofia Cohen, was killed in a car accident about a month earlier. Since birth, the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit teams fought to save Hadar's life, providing complex and dedicated medical treatment. Despite their efforts, the hospital confirmed that she passed away today.
