Vidar Kjartansson, a former Maccabi Tel Aviv forward, has made a remarkable comeback in Iceland's third division, scoring historic numbers for his current club, Selfoss. After a decade since he last played in Israel's Premier League, Kjartansson's career had declined, but he now appears to have revitalized his form. Since joining Selfoss last winter, he has scored 30 goals in 20 matches across all competitions this season, setting a new club record for most goals in a single season.
