This season, which runs from winter to autumn, Kjartansson has scored 30 goals in 20 matches across all competitions, setting a new single-season scoring record for Selfoss. His standout performance came about ten days ago when he scored five goals and provided an assist in a 6-2 victory over Fylkir. He also recently scored twice in a 3-1 win against Throttur Vogar.
