Israeli Man Detained in Cyprus Airport Over Two Bullets Found in Backpack

A 42-year-old Israeli man was detained at Paphos Airport in Cyprus on August 21 after security personnel discovered two bullets in his backpack. The man was preparing to board a flight back to Israel when the ammunition was found during a security check. He was promptly brought before a district court judge the same day, fined 600 euros, paid the fine, and was released without further detention. His name was not disclosed.
