Suspects in Eldar Dayan Case to Be Released as Murder Charges Dropped
All seven suspects involved in the death of Eldar Dayan are expected to be released to house arrest tomorrow after the forensic institute reported that the cause of death could not be determined. Consequently, the murder and abandonment charges against them have been removed. A police source revealed that Dayan's family is angry and distressed by this development. The source added, "From our perspective, the evidence in the murder case has been exhausted. No evidentiary basis for a murder charge was established. We are proceeding reluctantly as we had hoped for a different outcome."
