Sister of Shin Bet Chief David Zini Joins Noam Party Ahead of Elections
The Noam party, led by MK Avi Maoz, announced on Sunday the addition of Yiska Haimov to its Knesset candidate list. Haimov is the sister of Shin Bet chief David Zini and a resident of Shaarei Tikva. She has held several leadership roles, including CEO of the settlements Einav and Shavei Shomron, chairwoman of Kiryat Netafim, and director of the dormitory at the Makveh Israel youth village. Upon joining, Haimov expressed gratitude for the trust and emphasized her commitment to strengthening Israel's education system and Jewish identity.
Alongside Haimov, Liora Alon also joined the party. Last month, Rabbi Shimon Tubul, deputy mayor of Beersheba representing Degel HaTorah, joined Noam as well. Tubul's announcement came shortly after the prosecution filed charges against him for assaulting two gas station workers during his military reserve service. The incident reportedly involved a confrontation over music playing from his vehicle at a gas station in Kfar Azza.
