Journalist Netali Shem Tov Expected to Join Ofer Winter’s New Right-Wing Party

Journalist and news presenter Netali Shem Tov is anticipated to join the new political party founded by Ofer Winter, according to political sources. This move is expected to be confirmed with the party list launch planned for this week. Over recent months, Shem Tov reportedly received offers from both the Likud party and the new party being formed by Gilad Erdan and Yuli Edelstein but appears set to align with Winter’s faction.

The emerging party list is also expected to include public diplomacy activist Yosef Hadad and Leli Deri, mother of Saadia Deri, who was killed in the war. Ofer Winter has declined proposals to merge with other right-wing parties or to secure a reserved spot on the Likud list, positioning his party as an alternative for right-wing voters dissatisfied with the current coalition.

Political analysts suggest that the entry of Winter’s new party could impact the balance of power within the right-wing bloc, especially amid concerns about vote splitting as candidate lists are finalized ahead of the upcoming elections.
