Israeli Police Seize Nearly 2 Million Shekels and Uncover Illegal Soda Factory in Tira

Israeli Central District police conducted an enforcement operation in Tira, seizing approximately 1.8 million shekels in cash along with foreign currencies worth tens of thousands of shekels. During the raid, authorities uncovered an unlicensed factory producing carbonated beverages under poor sanitary conditions. The site exhibited serious safety violations and raised suspicions of offenses related to the law limiting cash usage. As a result, work cessation orders were issued to two businesses operating there. Additionally, three illegal workers employed at the facility were arrested.
