Israeli Police Seize Half a Million Shekels and Foreign Currency in Nahariya Raid

Israeli police officers from the Nahariya station conducted a planned raid at a residence in Nahariya, uncovering approximately 500,000 shekels in cash along with large amounts of foreign currency hidden in the roof of a warehouse in the home's yard. The operation, carried out under a search warrant and with the assistance of a police dog, revealed various currencies including US dollars, euros, hundreds of thousands of Iraqi dinars, and other foreign coins. Following the search, the police arrested the suspect and his father, both of whom were taken to the Nahariya police station for questioning. The seized funds and currencies are now in police custody as the investigation continues.
