Hapoel Be'er Sheva Signs Center Ido Fleischer for 2026/27 Season
Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona has officially announced the return of 28-year-old Israeli center Ido Fleischer to the club for the 2026/27 basketball season. Fleischer, who stands 2.08 meters tall, previously played for Be'er Sheva during the 2024/25 season and brings extensive experience from the Israeli Premier League. Over his career, he has played for teams including Maccabi Ashdod, Maccabi Rishon LeZion, Gilboa/Galil, and most recently Ironi Ashkelon.
Earlier on August 20, 2026, the club also appointed Douglas Spradley as their new head coach. The 59-year-old coach arrives with over 20 years of European basketball experience, primarily in Germany and the Netherlands. In the past four seasons, Spradley led ZZ Leiden to two Dutch championships, a Dutch Cup, a BNXT League title, and two Supercup trophies.
