Hapoel Be'er Sheva Signs Center Ido Fleisher for 2026/27 Season
Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona has officially announced the signing of 28-year-old Israeli center Ido Fleisher for the upcoming 2026/27 basketball season. Fleisher, who stands 2.08 meters tall, returns to the club for a second stint after previously playing for them in the 2024/25 season. He brings extensive experience from the Israeli Premier League, having played for teams including Maccabi Ashdod, Maccabi Rishon LeZion, Gilboa/Galil, and most recently Ironi Ashkelon.
Earlier the same day, the club appointed Douglas Spradley as their new head coach. Spradley, 59, arrives with over 20 years of coaching experience in European basketball, primarily in Germany and the Netherlands. In the past four seasons, he led ZZ Leiden to multiple titles, including two Dutch championships, the Dutch Cup, the BNXT League championship, and two Supercup trophies.
With these moves, Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona continues to build a competitive roster and coaching staff aimed at success in the Israeli Basketball Premier League for the 2026/27 season.
