Two National Guard Officers Indicted for Violent Assault on Residents in Tel Sheva
The Police Investigations Department has filed charges against two National Guard officers at the Beersheba Magistrate's Court for assault causing serious injury under aggravating circumstances. The indictment alleges that the officers violently and unlawfully attacked two residents of the Bedouin town of Tel Sheva, inflicting significant injuries. The incident occurred seven months ago during a patrol by a National Guard vehicle in the town. One of the accused wore tactical gloves with hard plastic parts and struck one complainant with punches and kicks, knocking him to the ground and continuing to hit his upper body until noticing facial bleeding. Meanwhile, the second officer ordered the other complainant to face a wall and forcefully kicked him in the legs and groin.
