Man Caught Stealing From Apartment and Restaurant Damaged by Iranian Missile in Tel Aviv

A man in his 60s from Tel Aviv was arrested on Wednesday for breaking into an evacuated apartment damaged by an Iranian missile on Yehuda Halevi Street during Operation "Roaring Lion." The apartment had been vacated due to the missile strike, and the suspect was caught leaving the damaged site carrying numerous items believed to have been stolen from there. Police found bottles of alcohol and work tools belonging to workers at the site in his possession.

During the investigation, authorities also suspected the man of previously breaking into the well-known "Mitbar" restaurant on Sderot Chen in Tel Aviv. He reportedly damaged the restaurant's lock, entered the premises, and stole bottles of alcohol worth thousands of shekels. Following his interrogation, the suspect was detained and is expected to appear in the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, where police will request an extension of his detention.
