Colombian Winger Alex Castro Joins Hapoel Kfar Shalem in Israeli National League
Hapoel Kfar Shalem has signed Colombian winger Alex Castro ahead of the new season in Israel's National League. Castro, 32, who is valued at 250,000 euros according to Transfermarkt, will strengthen the club's attacking options. Throughout his career, Castro has played extensively in Colombian leagues, making 150 appearances in the top division, and has also competed in Mexico and Uruguay. Notably, in January 2020, he was transferred to Mexican club Cruz Azul for 1.9 million euros. Last season, he played for Millonarios in Colombia's first division but had limited playing time and left on a free transfer this summer. The signing marks a significant addition for Kfar Shalem as they continue to build their squad for the ongoing National League campaign.
