Stolen Car Driver Crashes Police Blockade in Ariel, Flees Toward Salfit
A police chase unfolded on Thursday in the Ariel area after a driver in a stolen vehicle broke through a police blockade. According to police, the suspect endangered officers by attempting to run one over during the escape. The driver then crashed through the city gate of Ariel and continued driving recklessly toward Salfit.
Officers from the Ariel police station pursued the suspect and, due to the danger posed, fired at the vehicle's tires to stop it. The car was halted shortly afterward. The suspect was injured during the incident and received medical treatment on site before being prepared for further care.
