Iran’s President Rejects U.S. Pressure, Denies Nuclear Weapons Ambitions

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said his country will not bow to what he called American arrogance. He added that Iran has repeatedly stated it does not want to build a nuclear bomb.

Pezeshkian’s remarks were a brief public rejection of U.S. pressure, framed around Iran’s long-standing position on its nuclear program. He said, “We will not surrender to American arrogance,” and stressed, “We have said a hundred times that we do not want to produce a nuclear bomb.”
