Israeli Men's Gymnastics Team Qualifies for World Championships with Two European Championship Finals

The Israeli men's artistic gymnastics team secured a top-ten finish at the European Championships held in Zagreb, Croatia, on August 19, 2026, earning qualification for the upcoming World Championships in October. The team placed tenth overall with a combined score of 238.659 points, meeting their primary goal of achieving the team qualification standard.

Olympic medalist Artem Dolgopyat advanced to the floor exercise final in second place with a score of 14.766 and ranked ninth in the all-around with 80.597 points. Ron Fiatov qualified for the parallel bars final, placing eighth with a score of 13.966. Other team members included Noam Berkovich, who finished 31st in the all-around with 77.598 points; Ilya Lyubimov with 74.965 points; Eliran Yuskovich, who scored 12.666 on the pommel horse; and Ron Ortal, who earned 12.333 on rings, 13.233 on horizontal bar, and 13.200 on floor exercise.

The senior team is coached by national coach Sergei Weisburg, Andrei Gribnov, and Ilan Korchak, with judges Yaakov Levi and Ilan Gazit and physiotherapist Adam Badir. Avi Shagai, chairman of the Israeli Gymnastics Federation, praised the team's performance, highlighting the achievement of the team qualification and the individual finals reached by Dolgopyat and Fiatov. He extended his congratulations to the gymnasts and coaching staff and wished success to Dolgopyat and Fiatov in their finals.
