Futsal Player Ravid Shamai Signs With Ironi Tiberias in Israeli Premier League

Maccabi Nahalat Yitzhak announced the transfer of 22-year-old futsal player Ravid Shamai to Ironi Tiberias in the Israeli Premier League. Shamai made a rare jump directly from the indoor futsal league to the top-tier outdoor football league. He has already been registered with Ironi Tiberias and is expected to be part of the squad for the season opener against Hapoel Petah Tikva.

Last season, Shamai played for Maccabi Yavne as a substitute in Liga Alef South and previously for Hapoel Lod in the same division. In the futsal league, he scored three goals, including a brace in Nahalat Yitzhak's 16-4 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv. Nahalat Yitzhak praised Shamai as a talented and humble player and wished him success, highlighting his move as a historic first in their league.
