Channel 14 Falls to Last Place in Prime Time Ratings as Channel 12 Leads
Monday night’s Israeli TV ratings showed a sharp split across the major channels as the new broadcast week began. In prime time, Keshet 12 led comfortably with “Wedding at First Sight,” which drew a steady 15.4% rating. Reshet 13’s “Big Brother” followed with 12.7%, a solid result but not enough to beat the leader.
The public broadcaster Kan 11 also had a strong night. Its evening news bulletin reached 9.2%, nearly a double-digit result. Channel 14’s flagship current affairs program, “The Patriots,” retained a loyal audience with 7.1%, but finished fourth and last in the main evening slot.
In the main 8:00 p.m. news race, Channel 12 continued to dominate with 16.1%. Kanal 13’s evening news kept losing viewers and fell to 5.7%, while Channel 14’s news edition beat it clearly with 7.8%.
The biggest surprise came from Kan 11 again, where a broadcast of the Germany vs. Curacao football match, part of World Cup coverage, drew 11%. That placed Kan second in the time slot. i24NEWS closed the ratings table with just 1.7%.
