Rami Levy Tops National Survey for Cheapest Meat and Produce Baskets Ahead of Jewish Holidays
A nationwide survey conducted by the Geocartography Institute among 500 Jewish and Arab respondents ranked Rami Levy Shikma Marketing as the leading retailer offering the lowest prices for meat, poultry, fruits, and vegetables ahead of Rosh Hashanah and other holidays. In the meat and poultry category, Rami Levy secured first place with 31% of respondents citing it as the cheapest, followed by Osher Ad with 24%, Half Free with 10%, and other chains including Yochananof, Carrefour, Shufersal, Victory, Yesh Chesed, Mahsanei Hashuk, Tiv Taam, Keshet Taam, and Yainot Bitan trailing behind. For fruits and vegetables, Rami Levy again led with 33%, Osher Ad came second with 26%, and Yochananof and Shufersal tied for third at 7% each, with other chains receiving smaller shares. Yafit Levy, co-CEO of Rami Levy Shikma Marketing, expressed satisfaction with the survey results, highlighting the chain's continued leadership in offering the most affordable shopping baskets in Israel. The survey underscores Rami Levy's strong market position in price competitiveness during the critical holiday shopping season.
