Israeli Man Charged for Selling and Re-Stealing Stolen Cars to Palestinian Territories
The Israeli prosecution has indicted 31-year-old Tarek Alabid from Kseifa for selling stolen vehicles and then stealing them back to transfer to Palestinian Authority areas. According to the indictment, Alabid obtained stolen cars and located identical vehicles being sold legally. He impersonated owners and forged documents to match the stolen cars' details to those of legitimate vehicles. He then sold these cars to third parties to generate additional profit and conceal the theft. This scheme involved falsifying ownership and documentation to facilitate illegal sales and the subsequent transfer of the stolen vehicles into Palestinian-controlled territories.
